What if a space is damaged after a booking?

As a booker, you agree to be responsible for any damages that you or your guests cause during your booking. In case of damage, our Spacebase liability insurance can apply. You can find further information about the insurance here.

You should be respectful with the space and personal belongings during your booking and keep it as clean as possible. The space provider is responsible for basic upkeep of the space and removal of trash, which means there might be a cleaning fee.

Space providers will report any damages, along with relevant documentation, to the Spacebase team right after the booking. We will then notify you if you have to pay any charges for the damage. 

In case a space provider tries to charge you for damages that you or someone who was part of your booking didn’t cause, please let us know immediately and include all relevant documentation (electronic communications, photos, etc.).
